The Renegade fair was such fun - I am very glad I got it together and did it! Great people and quality stuff. I managed not to spend all of my earnings on other peoples work, but there were some real tempting booths. One of my favorites was Lisa Chow:I almost bought the print above called "It's Sprinkling" - so sweet (you can see more at http://www.apt3305.com/). I ended up only buying one awesome beet print from my wonderful booth neighbor Empire Press; check them out at http://www.empirepresstx.com/.
Oh also, I was interviewed for a community arts segment of the local public television station KLRU - check it out! www.klru.org/collective. It is the inspiration segment.

Renegade Craft Fair
Getting ready for the fair in Austin next weekend! Last week I got in my fabrics and they look great. I am now busy getting my print work ready to go and planning the display. I will be sharing the booth with the talented Melissa Borrell - check out her work here: www.melissaborrell.com/
Here is a quick shot of some of the fabrics..."Sailing" handkerchief fabric, "Sweet Treat" towel fabric and the "Desert Tree" tea towel . Come take a look at the real stuff this weekend!
See the flyer above for the event details. I hope you all can make it!!

Surtex!
I have been super busy getting ready for Surtex. Last week I handed off a bunch of new designs to Studio Lala and they will be setting up next weekend in NYC.
I have been really excited about conversational patterns, so that was a focus for my Surtex group. Here is a one of my favorites...a little cactus love!
Next up - Renegade Craft Fair!! More info about that in my next post.
