Shana Astrachan Shop in SF

Here is the opening announcement for Shana's new shop in San Fransisco...very exciting for her and I will have a few items for sale there too! There will be Ruby Sky note cards, limited edition prints and tea towels.

Vintage photos are such a great source of inspiration. I think this image (on the bottom) was taken by my husbands grandfather...a Worlds Fair shot? Anyway - it is some sort of kite decoration on a ceiling and it is very cool. The structural patterning and Buckminster Fuller feel seem to make sense right now. The image on top is a new pattern inspired by the photo.

Sea Side Baubles

I have had all things sea related on my mind and in my art for years. I have begun a new series of drawings and digital prints once again on the on going theme...am I in a rut? If so - I think it is a good one. These will be available soon in my new Etsy shop!
